Kanpur universities scientists employ insects to fight carrot grass hazard

KANPUR: In a bio-control measure , scientists of the Chandra Shekhar Azad(CSA) University released thousands of insects on Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College(GSVMM) premises on Wednesday.
These insects are expected to prey on the hazardous plant, carrot grass(parthenium), that causes allergic diseases, including asthma.
